Fourth Gold for Medina
Josephine Medina captured her fourth gold medal in the 4th Association of Southeast Asian Nations(ASEAN) Para Games in northeastern province at Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.
Medina, 37, teamed up with Purificacion Mingarine in dismantling Timor Leste’s Pascoela Dos Santos Pereira and Ines Fatima Olivera Pires, 11-1, 11-0, 11-1, 11-2, to seal the gold in doubles Class 8.
It was Medina’s fourth gold medal.
