“In table tennis the team, composed mainly of players from University of Cebu collected a total of 12 gold medals after winning three of the four team events—elementary boys and the secondary boys and girls. All three teams came home with unblemished 8-0 win-loss records from the eliminations until the finals.

The elementary boys composed of Dannel Jay Tormis, Jean Phillippe Honoridez, Lemuel Agbon and Philip Belda trounced Cebu Province in the finals.

The high school girls teams of Jennifer Jacalan, Mary Angeli Motel, Elona Dane Tormis and Girlie Apas also won over Cebu Province, while the boys team Jeffrey Apas, Edward Jordan Obong, Val Stephen Jaca and Gino Selma won over Mandaue.”
