YOUTH TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT

AUTHORITY

Amoranto Table Tennis and Metropolitan Table Tennis Association (METTA), in coordination with the Office of Quezon City Mayor Sonny “SB” Belmonte and Amoranto Sports Complex Administrator Andy Apostol, are the organizers of the Tournament.

DATE, TIME & PLACE

The Tournament will be held on June 14 and 15, 2008 (Saturday and Sunday) from 9AM onwards, at the Table Tennis area of the Amoranto Sports Complex, Roces Ave. / Scout Chuatoco Street, Q.C.

• 1. 17 and Under (Boys)

• 1. 17 and Under (Girls)

• 1. 13 and Under (Boys)

• 1. 13 and Under (Girls)

*** ( “17 Years Old” and “13 Years Old” shall mean / cover / include its maximum range, on the first day of the Tournament)

Participants must make available their Birth Certificates when requested, for verification purposes.

ELIGIBILITY

Former and Current National Players and National training pool members are NOT eligible to join the Tournament.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE / DRAW DATE / ENTRY FEES

The Deadline for registration is on June 07, 2008 (Saturday). The Draw shall be conducted on June 08, 2008 (Sunday), 10:00AM, at the club premises.

The Entry Fee for each Event is Fifty Pesos (P50).

Failure to pay the Entry Fee before the start of his/her first match shall cause the FORFEITURE / DEFAULT of ALL his/her scheduled matches, and shall automatically be recorded as “wins” for his/her opponents.

COMPETITION RULES / FORMAT

The Matches shall be played in accordance with ITTF Rules.

The Elimination Round shall be played under the Round Robin within the Bracket System. The Final Round shall be played using the Crossover-Knockout System.

AWARDS

Medals and Cash Prizes will be given to the Podium Finishers in each Event (Champion, 1^st Runner-up and two 2^nd Runners- up)

OPENING / AWARDING CEREMONIES

The Opening Ceremonies on June 14, 2008 shall start at 9AM.

The Awarding Ceremonies shall be held right after the Championship matches on June 15, 2008.
