The Metro Zamboanga Table Tennis Association (MEZATTA) in cooperation with the City Government of Zamboanga and sanctioned by the Table Tennis Association of the Philippines will host the “4th Mayor Celso L. Lobregat Table Tennis Cup 2009” on October 9-11, 2009 at the Golden Boys Sports Grille, Nunez Extension, Zamboanga City as part of the Zamboanga Hermosa Festival 2009 celebration.

Ito po ang schedule ng “Mayor Celso Lobregat Table Tennis Cup” dito sa Zamboanga City for the 4th time now. Fiesta kasi yan dito sa amin sa Zamboanga City

Sanction naman pala ng Tatap bakit hindi mo gamitin ang rating system. The only thing you do is to put initial rating to all player na sasali and give the result to Tatap and let Tatap do the rest.

You could ask Gina of Tatap on what to do sa rating system she know everything about it. Siya ang incharge sa rating system I guess.
@boyang, kahit siguro nde sanctioned nang TATAP ay dapat bigyan din nang pansin for the rating system. The bigger the database, the more picture who’s who in table tennis in the Phils.

It’s much better if we centralized all table tennis tournaments here in our country. In this case we can identify who is among the youngster are capable to be a national player in the future or to be train to become a national player (grass root).
As I’ve said club to be recognize should be under the Table tennis association (member). They had shown as the rating system and it’s a fact that it gives positive sign that this numeric system is the best thing to start with. Information technology is here and all we need is using this thing.
But of course club who is planning to stage a tournament should cooperate by informing Tatap about their projects. Who knows, not only rating system they can give but some aspect involving clubs project. All we need is to unite and give Tatap something to do.

amen. Dapat galing lang sa sanctioned ng tatap ang maaring ipasang rating.
TATAP should be the one to do the first move not that we give them something to do. What about Huaching Foundation? Dapat bang magpa member ang isang foundation sa isang association lang to be sanctioned? LOL. /just asking.
Pwede naman gamitin ng club na hinde member ng tatap pero pwede rin i bale wala ang resulta or points na makukuha ng player sa hinde sanctioned ng tatap.
IMHO pag pwede magsubmit ang hinde sanctioned ay hinde na credible ang rating system ng tatap. Para ano pa na may tatap kung walang magpapamember?
@ganito na lang…mag charge na lang a certain amount of money para mga tt group na nde member if they want the results of their tourney to be included in the TATAP rating system, let’s say 2,000 pesos per tournament di ba? so me pera na ang TATAP galing sa mga non-member.
The 1st question that will arise for the membership is “ano makukuha namin sa TATAP as a member”?

@Eddie: Tama po kayo sa target date, ang CDO pala ang late– na dapat last August Fiesta, then Sept. Iligan fiesta and Zamboanga fiesta every Oct.
Dapat nga August yong sa CDO. Nagkasabay tuloy tournament namin. Palagi pa naman sila sumasali dito in the previous 3 tournaments

If this tournament is really sanctioned by TATAP then it is mandatory for the organizers to implement the rating system. If TATAP will only apply its rating system in national tournaments held in Manila, then questions will arise regarding its enforceability, applicability not to mention its impartiality. I suggest that the tourney organizers will coordinate with TATAP regarding its rating system. What’s the use of stating in the tourney’s prospectus that the tournament is TATAP sanctioned when not even a single move was shown that indeed TATAP has exerted efforts that it has sanctioned the same and the rating system which was introduced in the last National Selection could well be applied in this provincial tourney. It is easy for organizers to state that the tournament is TATAP sanctioned. Even a pampurok tourney can be TATAP sanctioned by just mentioning in the prospectus the magic word: “TATAP sanction”. But does TATAP really know and bother aside from gaining the credit that such tourney is sanctioned by them?
One thing, Hua Ching can still holds tournament that is sanctioned by TATAP (Just put the magic word “TATAP sanctioned”.
). I think a lot of privately run tournaments organized by few individuals in Manila are TATAP sanctioned (as stated in the prospectus). Thus, there is no need to be a member of TATAP to hold tournaments that are sanctioned by them…you need only to have a close heart with any TATAP officers and “yow knaw” what i mean..:D

MEZATTA is recognize as member of TATAP and Eng. Eddie Tadea is the VP for Region 9.
Wala pa sigurong pinamigay na software ang TATAP sa mga members or seminars on the use of rating system, the TATAP method???
By the way, the term “sanction” means PUNISHMENT or PERMISSION.

Results lang dapat ibibigay ng organizers at bahala na ang tatap sa computation kasi trabaho na nila yun, di sila kailangan i spoon feed.

Hindi po pinamimigay ang software. Tama po si Sir Harry, result lang ang kailangan at TATAP na ang bahalang gumawa.DILG National Tournament 2008(ultra)nag karoon ng meeting sa Camp Crame pinaliwag natin doon kung paano gamitin ang Numeric System lahat nman ay sumangayon. Nag ka problema lang po tayo sa site, now wla ng dahilan para hindi matuloy ang numeric system dahil may site na ang TATAP in which doon nakalagay ang result last year Nat’l tourney…
@butch, Nag pa tournament ako tatap sanction,ang rating ng mga player na nag laro sa tournament are all accepted. Btw 32 players lang ito that means small tournament lang po.
Ibig sabihin ke maliit o na tournament pwedeng mag pa sanction sa TATAP kung gusto basta member ang club mo sa TATAP.
Ang sinabi nga eh, hindi na kailangan na pumunta ang TATAP official para lang mag turo kung paano gamitin ang numeric system. Marami pong literate sa computer. katulad mo sir.
@boyang: Ang TATAP site ay WALANG Forum to discuss the Numeric System or whatever issues we want to talk kaya dito na lang tayo sa TATAPX. Kung maari lang sana dito nila e-publish ang method nang Numeric system para naman yung ibang grupo or club na walang alam ay me guidelines din. As we all know na ang computer ay GIGO processing.
Sa napupuna ko ay wala sa plano ng tatap ang forum o discussion board, pangatlong design at pangatlong tao na rin gumawa nyan at lahat walang forum.
