*Changing password

  1. Once logged in click “Your Account” located at the top right
  2. On the left, click “Change Password” then follow the instruction on that page

*Creating an album

  1. Expand the explorer on the left column and navigate to your album Gallery guide
  2. Click on <<album actions>> on the left column and pick “Add Album
  3. Type in the new album name (required), title, summary, keywords and description
  4. Click “Create” button
  5. You will be presented with “Edit Album” page, change it to your liking or simply accept the default; click “Save
  6. From here you can add pictures, click on “Add items” (see Uploading pictures)

*Uploading pictures (see also Resizing pictures)

  1. Navigate to album where you want to add your pictures
  2. If the album is empty, a message is displayed that the “album is empty”, click “Add a photo” link (jump to step 4)
  3. On the left click on <<album actions>> and pick “Add items
  4. In “Add items” page you will see some tabs or uploading types, basically you only need the default “From Web Browser”
  5. Click Browse and pick the picture or zip file with multiple numbers of pictures you wanted to upload. File name will be use as captions if you leave the “Captions” field blank
  6. Add your watermark if you have one
  7. Click “Add items” to upload

*Resizing pictures

Resizing pictures before uploading may save you a lot of time especially if you are on slow internet connection, there are many tools out there that can do the job easily. For resizing purposes I prefer to use the Image Resizer from Microsoft Power Toys, download Image Resizer and install. Note that it only works on English version of Windows XP and Vista. For older version of Windows check here. Resizing with Microsoft Image Resizer is easy as 123, all you need is to select all the pictures and right click them, pick Resize pictures and you will see the same window as below.

Caution: If “Resize the original pictures (don’t create copies)” is checked, the original pictures will be overwritten.
