Roxas City (9 October) — The Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) kicked off its mini-olympics for policemen last October 4 to promote the camaraderie of police authorities through various sports events.

The mini-olympics with the theme “Unity and Cooperation Through Sports for a Better Camaraderie” is participated in by ten teams of policemen provincewide coming from Roxas City Police Station (RCPS), CPPO, 604th and 605th Provincial Mobile Groups, and 6 teams emerging from clustered town police stations.

The teams scheduled to play every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon until December for the championship will compete in basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, and chess tournaments.
