Milo’s Inter-School Little Olympics

7:07 am in Blogroll by butch

Milo competition is gaining more popular every year and lots of schools
are coming back to participate. Table Tennis for Visayas has just
started their elimination round last September 5 & 6, 2009.  Almost
fifty (50) schools competed at the University of Cebu except Iloilo and
Bacolod.  Mindanao eliminations will be on Sept. 12 & 13 simultaneously
the final round for the Visayas.

Both Visayas and Mindanao legs have a big problem on the new format since most of the schools have less than 4 players.  Local organizers added the old format (singles & doubles events) as an exhibition games.  Lucky for those schools that have 4 players to compete in the teamplay and be given a chance to qualify in the National competition this coming October.
